Kevin Roche's National Conference Centre gets go ahead it's been a long time coming, but Irish Pritzker winner Kevin Roche's National Conference Centre finally got the go ahead last month. The Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism awarded the contractor the provision of the centre to Spencer Dock Convention Centre Dublin Ltd.
The original tender document for the centre’s development was issued in November 2003, with the project up and running by early 2008. Under the public private partnership Spencer Dock Convention Centre Dublin Ltd must now finance, design and build the centre and then operate it for 25 year.
