Spencer Dock Welcomes Cinemagic Film & Television Festival for Young People Coming to the Docklands Communities in April 08Spencer Dock has welcomed the imminent arrival of the Cinemagic Film and Television Festival for Young People, which is coming to Dublin for the first time ever this year. The festival is sponsored by Coca Cola in association with Spencer Dock.
The festival, which has been an outstanding success in Belfast for over eighteen years, has made its way to Dublin. To celebrate the festival in April, it will launch its programme with a special preview of The Game Plan (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Ireland) in Movies@Dundrum, Dundrum Town Centre. The festival will run from 23 April – 1 May and Spencer Dock will host a number of masterclasses for the Docklands Communities.
The interactive masterclasses will provide great insights in a lively setting with film and television industry guests presenting their ideals on the world of film, media and television. Masterclasses are a must for young people (aged 13- 25) wishing to follow a career in these industries.
Dee Ahearn, Director of Sales & Marketing, Treasury Holdings said, "We wish Cinemagic the very best of luck with this festival and are delighted that they have brought it to Dublin and particularly to Spencer Dock. Masterclasses for young people will take place in the Docklands area and we hope that all young people in the area will get involved. It has been a huge success in Belfast and I have no doubt that it will receive the same reaction here in Dublin."
